Ostend Air College

Ostend Air College in Belgium is the latest ATO (Approved Training Organisation) to become a Padpilot partner school, using the new Padpilot EASA 2020 ATPL ground school materials.

Ostend Air College (OAC) was the first approved training centre for airline pilots in Belgium and now has over 20 years of experience. They have provided newly qualified pilots to over 40 companies all over the world, including many renowned airlines such as TUI fly (formerly Jetairfly) and Brussels Airlines (formerly Sabena).

Along with a modern infrastructure, OAC offers an impressive fleet including the largest uniform G1000/G500 glass cockpit fleet in Belgium. They also operate three Diamond DA40 (including 1 DA40 NG), one Diamond DA42, one DA42 simulator, and two new Aquila A211GX.

We know the students will benefit from studying the most up to date theoretical knowledge.
Cadets at OAC will be among the first in Europe to begin using the new EASA 2020 syllabus books. “We’re very proud to be providing the new 2020 ground school materials to future pilots at OAC. We know the students will benefit from studying the most up to date theoretical knowledge with interactive, modern learning aids, for their future career on the flight deck,” said Graham Cownie, Padpilot MD.
